Utilizing the company's proprietary affinity enhancement platform, the affinity of IL-1RN was optimized through multiple rounds of screening against IL-1R1, resulting in the development of this drug candidate. VDJ006 effectively and simultaneously blocks both IL-1β and IL-1α signaling pathways and features an Fc-mediated long-acting function, making it more similar to physiologically active proteins in the human body. This design extends the drug's half-life, allows for less frequent dosing, reduces injection site reactions, alleviates patient discomfort, and minimizes immunogenicity risks. In mouse CIA models, VDJ006 demonstrated complete disease inhibition, indicating strong market competitiveness. International patents for this project have been granted in China, Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
