To deepen business collaboration between the Beijing and Zhejiang teams and strengthen internal cohesion, the company gathered employees from both locations in Xianju, Zhejiang, for a refreshing getaway. Combining industrial exchange, on-site research study and outdoor team-building activities, this event aligned the team on business goals and fostered closer bonds among all staff. 

1. Factory Site Tour: Mutual Learning to Drive Progress All employees visited Weidejie’s Zhejiang production base to gain insights into the company’s core industrial layout. 

Led by Mr. Sha, Quality Director of the Zhejiang site, the team received a full overview of the industrial park construction. As a key strategic project of the company, the base houses a 2000 L single-use cell culture production line, the largest single-scale facility of its kind, fully demonstrating the company’s production capacity and technical prowess in antibody drug development. Accompanied by Mr. Wang, person-in-charge of the Zhejiang base and relevant management staff, the group toured frontline workshops including packaging rooms, filling lines and core bulk drug production zones. 

With professional on-site explanations, team members gained systematic understanding of production equipment operating principles and standard workflows, and witnessed the full industrial chain from process development to large-scale manufacturing. The visit laid a solid foundation for efficient cross-regional collaboration in the future. 

2. Rafting at Immortal Valley: Unite as One, Forge Team Synergy To help staff unwind and strengthen interpersonal connections, the whole team enjoyed a featured rafting experience at Immortal Valley. 

Everyone navigated clear, rushing streams side by side, cheering each other on throughout the challenges. Team spirit and cohesion flourished amid the natural landscape. 

3. Hiking at Immortal Residence Mountain: Temper Willpower and Character The team embarked on a hiking expedition at Immortal Residence Mountain to immerse themselves in natural scenery and temper collective perseverance.

Towering jagged peaks rise amid rolling sea of clouds. Faced with the challenging hiking route, most teammates persisted and reached the summit on foot. This indomitable, unyielding spirit perfectly embodies Weidejie’s core values. The hike was not merely a physical test, but a training ground for collective resolve. Taking this experience as motivation, all staff shall continuously refine their mindsets, pursue self-improvement with strict self-discipline, and strive for greater breakthroughs at work. That evening, an outdoor barbecue party was held. Surrounded by glowing charcoal fires and cool evening breezes, everyone chatted freely, bridging the gaps between different departments and regional teams and sustaining the tacit understanding forged through shared efforts.

4. Return with Full Harvest, Embark on a New Journey The Xianju team-building activity drew to a successful close after all participants reached the mountain top. 

More than a relaxing retreat amid mountains and rivers, this event served as a strategic mobilization for the organization. At the production base, we reaffirmed our shared vision: to build a world-leading monoclonal antibody technology platform and bring Chinese antibody medicines to the global stage. Through the steep mountain trails of Immortal Residence Mountain and rushing rapids of Immortal Valley, the Beijing and Zhejiang teams stood side by side, proving our resilient spirit of daring to take on tough challenges and delivering outstanding results. 

At the dinner banquet, Chairman Li Ziqiang analyzed the severe industry landscape and the company’s core strategy of "survive first, then pursue growth", putting forward clear requirements for all employees. Achieving success is never easy, with very little room for error; oversight in any link may impact overall operations. He urged all colleagues to practice self-discipline and self-reflection, face shortcomings squarely, learn from one another, and build momentum for the company’s steady growth. 

Marking a new starting point, all Weidejie staff will act on the consensus forged during this team-building trip, translating the perseverance of mountain climbing into tangible determination to overcome obstacles. The Beijing and Zhejiang teams will deepen cross-regional collaboration and forge ahead side by side, advancing the launch of core products with renewed vigor, and contributing robust strength to the innovative development of China’s biopharmaceutical industry.
